THAT was certainly a thorough explanation and I plan to save it! I had this argument with people regarding Nikki Haley, whose parents were working toward being citizens but were not when she was born, making her unqualified for President. The same for Ramaswamy. And Kamala Harris. Her father didn't become a citizen till long after she was born and her mother never did, making her totally unqualified.

THEN we get to all the inconsistencies regarding Barak Obama or Barry Soreto or whatever his name is. Attorney Philip Berg and others filed suits. All were dismissed because supposedly they had no standing, the famous catch all. They were interesting to read .

Bravo, Mr. Lovejoy. I am very familiar with this topic, and wrote an article about it sometime around 2005 or 2006. Your essay is the most comprehensive treatment I have read on the topic, is well-presented with incontrovertible logic and reaches the same conclusion I arrived at those many years ago. My reasoning was challenged by many. I hope yours isn't. Well done.

The cognitive dissonance resisting the conclusions we both reached is very strong, unfortunately. You can lead people to the truth, but you can't make them accept it.

You are claiming what a certain amendment intended and that it should no longer be applicable? You are a fucking embarrassment to the species page well at least the sub species of what you belong.

Somebody should’ve put a lifeguard in your gene pool generations ago

So if the natural born citizen of the United States birth a baby on the United States Navy ship at sea, that child is not a “natural citizen”?

What is the point of this word salad? Immigration is not on the list of things contributing to our Third World shit hole status. Stupid white guys on the other hand are most certainly in the top three. Hell, they are the top three.

I disagree. Naturalized citizens most likely still have some allegiance to or feelings for their country of birth. A President of the U S has to have no foreign allegiances, or even the appearance of any. An American citizen, born of parents who are native born American citizens, is what the Founders intended, makes sense.
