The entire election process was brilliantly & specifically outlined to follow. Like a plum line that sets the standard for measuring.

Once we veered from this plum line the cards started tumbling till we are where we are today.

Georgia seems to be trying to restore the integrity of their elections after the last fees elections where they see no where near any constitutional plum line. I saw on Twitter today the vilification of the chair of the Georgia election board bc they’re dismantling the cv19 changes which opened the doors to corruption. All we want are fair elections; a level playing field.

Our Founding Fathers laid out that level playing field. But……

1st Love your explanation and I get it now … Though I do believe that there is corruption in voting tabulations …. Everyone wants, who they want, to win

From county elections to Federal office holders…. And we need more than anything to have faith in a fair election process…. It’s the only thing that will matter and surely be our downfall if we don’t. The rhetoric must stop before we’re destroyed by it

I have yet to understand why the US gas not declared the first Tuesday after the first Monday in Nov as a national holiday to allow for fair, efficient voting. Absentee should also be slowed only under strict exceptions.

Election day used to be a Federal holiday; that could be re-instated. There's no reason that polling precincts could not be operated at US embassies and overseas US military bases: These would only have to handle ballots for Federal officers. The States are legally free to manage elections for their own officers as they see fit.

Then why is it happening??? Why are Anon promoting it?

Alan Lovejoy's avatar

It's happening for the same reasons that other Unconstitutional things happen: It benefits the rich, the powerful and the corrupt.

I'm not aware of any anons who are promoting it. But one can always find those of any political affinity who promote things that are at odds with those who are otherwise on their side generally don't.

Who would have standing to sue to get early voting etc to end?

I suppose that early voting could fall under the heading of absentee ballots. They would have to be left unopened until the actual election day, at which time they would be counted.

I have voted early in person, however - I cast my ballot in Town Hall, and placed it in a sealed envelope to be counted on Election Day.

That counting on Election Day might be sufficient legal cover for early voting, although as you point out, "election" means the actual votes being cast, not the counting of the votes.

Even those who can't get to a polling place on election day could have their votes notarized on that day, and then have them mailed in. Also, in cases where there would be a significant number of eligible voters who could not get to a polling place on election day--such as those residing outside the US--polling places could be set up at US Embassies and military bases. Note that that's only legally required by Federal law when voting for Federal office holders. Elections for anyone or anything else could legally be handled as State law proscribes.

Those who "won" [sic] by means of illegal voting and/or election fraud say what?
